Another new addition to my budding commemorative set. A Wisconsin half which is common in this grade. But this coin has some of the best luster I have seen on these halves and the crescent toning adds some character to the coin. Let me know what you guys think about it.  Thanks BD |

Absolutely wonderful coins! Your off to a great start on your highly ambitious set -- I can't wait to see the pictures of each new acquisition! I wish you all the best with your pursuits!
I was also glad to read that you've been reading up on the series. I've always found the stories behind the coins to be fascinating and believe I appreciate the coins more because I'm familiar with their histories. I've got over two dozen commem-specific books in my library and enjoy looking through and reading each one of them!

Thanks a lot everyone for the comments and encouragement. I will continue to post as I add more. As I learn more and read more about the series the more picky I am becoming about the coins I add to the collection.
