Repeat New Member United States 16 Posts	Posted 10/04/2026 12:11 pm Hey guys, I cant seem to get a picture of what I can see under a magnifying lens or my microscope, but I can assure you neither of these marks are after the minting process like scratches or whatever since they both have perfect "buttons" that sit above the surface of the mark they sit in. I say button bc thats the closest shape/design from this quarter it would be from, right? Any/all input is much appreciated. Attached is 4 photos, 2 for each quarter with the error/anomaly I'm talking about. Thx Report this Post to the Staff

Greasy Fingers Pillar of the Community United States 7396 Posts	Posted 10/04/2026 10:51 pm 2nd coin (photos #3 & 4) 100% Reed Marks, Post Strike Damage 1st coin (photos #1 & 2) may be damage or something like a "dropped letter/number" error because on that coin I'm not seeing any pushed metal, I can't tell either way. I suggest you label and hold on to it until you've learned a little more. If other come back to this post I'm sure they would agree with me. Report this Post to the Staff
