1855 Half Cent

Really hard to tell from those pictures, but I would say given the hair detail probably around XF40. I can't tell much about the surfaces or rub, but it's possibly as high as AU50 (or 53?) if the detail is better than what I can see from the pictures. It looks to be a very nice example!

Advice for better images: If you can stabilize your camera, you would get better results with a direct on shot of the coin and with two lights (one at 3 o-clock and one at 9 o-clock). In addition, shooting the coin raw out of the 2x2 cardboard holder would offer hints as to the luster of the coin (without shooting through a layer of plastic).

I would call it AU based on the ribbon on the reverse.
