So, I've posted my 1857 FEC, 1858 FEC, and 1860 IHC. It seems that the logical thing to do would be to post my 1859 IHC. So, looking at my ANA grading book, I'm thinking maybe Fine. What do you guys think? How wrong am I?

I'd go VG 10. Not enough leaf detail and Liberty should be fully readable for F12. IMHO

I agree with VG8 details. Looks like the surfaces are pitted from corrosion.

I agree with VG8 details, corrosion and cleaned.

I also suspect this coin was buried and cleaned at some point. That would explain the overall softness of the remaining detail. Since the lower headband is just barely defined, I'm guessing this was once VF20, net VG10 now.

I have one just like it that ANACS gave VG8 (problem free). It also had an error on it, so they might have been kind to it.
