Very nice, I'd love one of them, there was an article about them a while back in the CAB Magazine. I could only find a die clash. It's times like these where I wish I was a noodler.

Had a quick look through $200 of 50c and there were 23 2010 coat of arms, but no rotated dies.

I am considering selling this coin. I am pretty sure there have not been any on ebay, so there is no history to look at. That there have not been any sold on ebay also seems to indicate its pretty rare. I would be interested in ideas of how much it is worth.

$3? I'm sure there'd be many more happy homes for more happy dollars. I remember seeing one on ebay a while back. It was a buy it now for $50, my problem was I missed out on it. I'm very sure it'll sell for alot more than that at auction on ebay.

I've got $60 of 50c to noodle in the next day for our coin survey. So with a bit of luck I swing one out. I might need more than a bit of luck because they are considered a rare upset (or sad ) coin. If they were one die set like the possiblities of the 2001 Centenary of Federation upset I would be happy because we'd all have a couple, but we probably would be over it. I think we're very much into this coin it at the moment. Why? For the simple reason that we can't get one!

Without being in the know I would bet on it getting at least $10 but probably more. Upsets are hard to pick unless you're actually looking for them. Its not something most coin oblivious people pick out of their change.

Quote: Its not something most coin oblivious people pick out of their change. I don't think all people would even realise it's an error to start with. I've showed an upset to a few people and two expressed surprise that the obverse and reverse were even meant to be aligned.
