Looks like it's sitting on(in) a gas bubble.

Looks more like coin cointact. Can't be a gas bubble in a copper planchet. They are usually on Zincolns'.

I am not sure it's coin contact. I think I have seen a few of these in the past.

I've seen these on 78's and 79's. I just call them filled MM and toss them in the copper box.
