That definitely is a large and decent coins. I assume those are orichalcum?

I don't have an Antoninus Pius yet. Those are fairly common and within my price range, at lower grades of course.

In numismatics, orichalcum is the golden-colored bronze alloy used for the sestertius and dupondius coins.

However, I'm totally joking ...

Honestly => I "never" regret buying big, healthy, cool coins like these bad-boys ... they're exactly what I think an ancient coin should look like, ya know?

=> these two dawgs, were money well spent!!

=> arrrrggghhhh!

Nice coins Steve. I don't have a Sestertius yet.

Have you ever wondered what Salus is feeding that snake?

Steve, very nice examples--the portraits are especially strong!
I hope you don't try "pond-skipping" these two, but if you do...aim towards my beach.

Doucet => you're right ... hmmm, I wonder what is being fed to the snake? (it doesn't look like a small rodent) ...

=> it actually looks like it might be some sort of disc ... ummm, maybe it is an egg? (that makes sense, yes?)
