First of all, thanks for such a helpful forum where we can learnt more about the antique stuff. I have 2 ancient coins as attached where I dont have idea of what is the year of the coin and if this is genuine or fake + what is the price range of this coins, if anyone knows the info about this coins , pls help to share. thanks a lot
Although the top picture is upside down the primitive design (mint mark) is that of a Chinese coin minted during the 4th century BC in the city of Yuan.This type of round coin with round hole is very rare and would have an approximate diameter of 42mm and weigh about 10g. Yours may well be a more modern replica.
The writing is off for an original of the first coin. The second is a charm, and, I would guess, both are modern. You could see if the patina on the first one will come off with a fingernail.
