Do you have a favorite banknote that for some reason you had to sell for some reason?

I had an 1899 $5.00 Silver Certificate
Ever since I saw one, it was on my radar and then I found one I could afford.... sadly though, I had to sell it to payoff part of my credit card

I will get another some time.

I once had a new Twenty when I was in Italy that had my birthday (DD/MM) and the last four of my SSN, but I had to spend it on a Gyro at Marko's.

I was just saying a couple of days ago that I regret selling this note, the battleship note is one of my favorites. I also regret not selling it for more than I did.

Mine was a 1934B STAR $10 Silver Certificate that my sister gave me. She got it when she cashed her paycheck! It was in very fine. I had to sell it to pay for college books.

Mine was a pristine 1914 $20 fed reserve note. It wasn't graded, but it was easily an AU. Needed the money to get a new crib and stroller for the upcoming addition. It was worth it, but boy do I love the reverse vignette.

<--I am fortunate enough never to have had to part with a note but when I hit hard times I slowly sold 8 gold soveriegns that I had bought for £40 each. I got about £150-£160 each so I made decent profit but I regret that I had to do it. They were all in good condition with each of the different portraits for each monarch on them and I know I will never replace them so that makes me sad :(
