I just looked the shipping up and was shocked... its the same cost for a very small package as a 20 kilogram package...

Not quite but Australia Post does know how to charge. http://auspost.com.au/products-and-...culator.html
To USA smallest parcel (250g or nearly 9 ounces) ranges from $7.75 to $81.27 depending on service. A 20kg (about 44 pounds) parcel only costs from $205.20 to $417.55!
Insurance is extra of course.

Hi, more feedback about the site.

> When placing a new bid, the small bidding dialogue box that opens obscures the current winning bid amount. Hard to decide whether or not to adjust the price that auto fills the field if the winning price is obscured.

> I don't see my personal bidder number anywhere in my profile or as an identifier on any page I looked at to know that a particular bidder is me.

> In the bidding history I see my bidder number, but no mention of my user name, so I had to connect the dots that I was actually the bidder who was or was not winning. In the heat of the last moments of an auction, it may be easy to be confused about whether or not your bid is the winning bid for the item, especially if the bidding numbers are similar.

> In the bidding history, the currently winning price is in green. But in the bidding page the use of red or green for the winning bid amount is the main indicator of whether you are winning (green) or someone else is (red). In the heat of the moment, it could be easy to become confused about who was winning because of this colour inconsistency.

> Also, I managed to become the highest bidder for an item to see what info is revealed to the winner bid. I can understand the proxy bid amount not being revealed in the bidding history, but not even I can see what my proxy bid is, or even if I have a proxy amount beyond the current winning amount.

Hope this helps. I'll keep bidding to see what else I can identify.

I may get a little bit nit-pickity about small things as I was the manager of web content for a local council and still do a little bit of web content work in my spare time. Please feel free to disregard any observations I make that you may feel are not relevent or deem as too picky. I always feel it is better to give as much feedback as I can to make a site more efficient, rather than to not mention something, as I figure that is the whole point of having a website tested.

Thanks for the feedback awildehear, your first two suggestions should be easy to fix, I'll look into your other suggestions over the next month. I still have quite a lot more work to do on the site before I fix the finer details.

Assuming nothing breaks within the next 90 minutes, the auction will be running at 7pm AEST on this page:

The live bidding was just over, I was trying to bid every testing coins. The only problem, and I think it is big one, is I have to keep click Bid to see what is going on, no click no live information. Pacific Rim Live auction looks much better, you can see everyone's bid and know exactely what is going on. Hope this helps

it was just under the current price, for example, Current Price: $10
Bid: $15

then you click the Bid: $15
