I'm having all the proofs in my two son's collections graded. I get 8 free a year so might as well have them graded so the boy's have to guess. I really thought the 80s and 90's were in better shape than the 75yr anniversary. Thought I'd share them with you all.  |

Out of interest how long did the grading process take with PCGS?

How do you get 8 free a year, is that part of the membership with PIGS? Very nice set btw, my Wife and I just got a 20th anniversary set on ebay graded NYC 69's. |

I receive a coin voucher with the Collector Club membership. There are three levels, if I remember correctly. I have the highest one which allows me to have 8 pins grade each year. Unfortunately, BadThad, the only coin I ever owned that may have qualified for a 70 was the high relief modern eagle. Under 180x, I couldn't find a mark on the coin or edge. I mailed the coins to PCGS on Aug 17th and received them on Aug 30th. My submissions are with the club vouchers so I've yet to send in a few for regular grading. This month I'll submit some gold coins for the economy service or monthly special to see how long the non-club, voucher, submission takes.  Edited by carmykle

Oh, and sorry about the quality of the photo, I had to scan the coins because Photbucket is giving me fits right now and the optimizer will take my photos only down to 150k.
