This is one of the few modern coins for which I have the proof version as well as the uncirculated piece -- it came via the two-piece US-Iceland set that you referenced. The two-piece US-Iceland set originally sold for $63.00 (pre-issue) and $68.00 thereafter. A quick note about the Iceland 1000 Kronur coin: it was the first foreign coin struck by the US Mint since 1983 (Panama). Look forward to seeing more of your collection!
