Nice coin! I like the OGP.

This is one of the few modern coins for which I have the proof version as well as the uncirculated piece -- it came via the two-piece US-Iceland set that you referenced. The two-piece US-Iceland set originally sold for $63.00 (pre-issue) and $68.00 thereafter.

A quick note about the Iceland 1000 Kronur coin: it was the first foreign coin struck by the US Mint since 1983 (Panama).

I believe theyre on the Euro now which would be about .78 .79 cents to 1 euro

they aint on the Euro
1,000.00 ISK(Kronur) = 8.17 USD
