Hi all... I have a Whitman book of nickels from 1922-1967 except the rare 1925 and the 1926 far 6. all the coins are in E.F and beter condition. does anyone know a ball park figure on the value of this book to sell, or would I be better off selling the coins seperatly....Thanks Roy

Assuming you have coins like 26 near 6 ,47 dot and 64 XWL but not real rare ones like 51 high relief and 53 near and far leaf and assuming a grade of EF for all you would be between $550 and $600 CDN for the lot.

I have to defend my estimate. I arrived at this figure,as I said,by assuming the criteria mentioned in my post and then adding up the prices listed in CCN trends.

hi gang,

here is the proof...you just have to wait and search...

check ebay item 150194682624 complete set from 1922-60 for 39.98 contains the following coins(41) all f to au

1922,1923,1924,1926 Near 6 (Rare Date) ,1927,1928,1929,1930,1931,1932,1933,1934,1935,1936,1937 dot,1938 (Rare Date),1939,1940,1941,1942,1942 Tombac,1943 Tombac,1944 Victory,1945 Victory,1946,1947,1947ML,1948 (Rare Date),1949,19501951,1951 Comm,1952,1953,1954,1955,1956,1957,1958,1959,1960.

throw in a 64 ewl ebay item 230203420688 ICCS ms-60 for 20 bucks and you still have it under 85 like I said.....

just let the powers of wait and see on ebay prevail.......hope this helps...d

i just checked the trends and bromac is correct......trend pricing ef or better would run a person over 500......

however, as indicated one could very well aquire the same for under a 100 on ebay.....

therefore I am not impuding his statements.....as the kids say now a days "my bad" lol.........d
