I saw the coin as well as the price. It seems difficult to determine a price since I only saw one coin available for sale at that place.

A nice type, but a little too much cleaning/rubbing/smoothing for my taste...

Gil-galad => yes, that's the problem that I had as well (although I did find an example on Wildwinds which was a bit higher-priced, but the coin was also a bit nicer) ...

Dionysos => yes, I think I am probably gonna pass on this one ... I too like to have a bit more clear-legend (but then the price goes up dramatically as well, right? ... it is a bit of a thrifty trade-off) ...

... anyway ... I'm still on the wagon, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask (therapy)

=> thanks for the comments

I love this style. I have been looking for a decent coin at a decent price, but every time I bid on one like it, it goes beyond my budget.

Personally, I don't think it's too worn, and if the price is right I would gladly welcome it into my collection.

JW, not too worn, just too much cleaning (and not done the right way)

Bing => It's all yours, if you want it (I am actually going to stay on the wagon for a bit longer) ...

I don't know what "you" think is a decent price, but maybe try offering $70-$75 for the ol' snake?

I'd offer $60 and see what the dealer says. You might get a counter-offer.

If it had a full legend with the same wear I'd say $60 would be a good price. But as it is $45 would be the most I would pay for it.

Thanks Jerry, but I'm tapped out for the rest of the month and well into next month. If I were to make an offer, it would be around the $60 mark.
