Perhaps those of you more familiar with the decimal issues than I am can offer an opinion on the grade and variety of this 1875H. Whether it's a small date or large date I can't say for sure despite the comparison photos in my books. It's a distressed example but still charming in hand.
In Charlton Guide the pictures of large date show that the top of 5 reaches above the top of 7... and bottom stem of the seven is much bigger, reaching well below the 5...
In the photo of your coin it appears that the top of 5 is even or below top of 7... and bottom of 5 is clearly even or below the bottom stem of 7...
