Anyone know what this counterstamp may be?

Most show a cornucopia but this seems different maybe two cornucopias?

Not the best quality coin so I've blown up a close up. Not fully IDed the coin yet either so any help there appreciated.

36mm 48 grams.

Very possibly - The only other caduceus example I've found so far is this though and it looks quite different:

Interesting stamp, looks big too. Do this give a hint to where it was circulated? Or what it might have been revalued too. I wonder if this coin had special purpose. I thought Egypt had a closed coin system, as there coins during this time couldn't leave Egypt. Maybe some in antiquity, pocketed the large bronze went somewhere far and said to the money changer, "wait till you see the size of this thing!"

I know a shop on VCoins that is selling a bunch of those. Perhaps that dealer knows more about them?

I had never even considered this but have wondered recently why the Tets of the 3rd century were so different from the coinage of the rest of the Empire, makes sense.

Gil - your Vcoins seller may have a few less in his shop now, I have a feeling thats who I bought my latest batch from including a 56 gram Ptolemy IV. I'm working my way up slowly to a 90 gram monster
