Does anyone know anything about a 1969 error canadian dime, I apppear to have found a half silver 1969 ( I know they stopped in mid 68) however it is clearly struck on a half silver planchet from early 1968 I know this because it passes the weight test weighing more than a normal 1969(2.07g) and being the exact same as the earlier silver content dimes weighing (2.33g), it has a beautiful silver look, and partially sticks because of the 68 planchet and not a 66 or 67 for example, can anyone elobarate on what this coin may be worth? No info at all on the web , however this happened with the 1969 dollar aswell... they are rare and there is 6 :S
Hmm Any idea on what it could be than , The weight is still an ussue and it looks considerable like silver and also different, deffinetly duller than nickel but magnetic , the rim is a bit thicker than normal and stands out aswell
