At the urging of folks from this and other forums, I've decided to take coins in for photographic services. Here are the guidelines I've decided on:
1) PM me with your needs 2) Ship all coins to me insured 3) Pricing is as follows: > 1 coin obv and rev $6 > 2-5 coins same denomination obv and rev $5 each > 6-25 coins same denomination obv and rev $4 each > 4x Variety Shots $8 each 4) Add USPS Insured return postage (whatever service level you prefer)
At some point soon I will put up a website to make things easier and to give examples of my photography

Correct. I figured there wouldn't be that many denominations present in a submission, but if someone sent in a world type set of 25 different coins then I planned to charge $6 per coin. Reason is it takes a fair amount of time (perhaps I am just slow...) to adjust the setup (magnification, light positions, etc) to get it all right for each size and type of coin. If they are the same denomination, then I probably just have to adjust the lights a bit. Now, someone could get around that by sending in Cents from 1910 and 1850, or perhaps Dollars from 2000 and 1921, and that's fine.
