Help With Grading/Pricing 1948 Silver Dollar

bmxboy Valued Member Canada 389 Posts	Posted 03/02/2013 3:37 pm I could see this grading as a MS60, very nicely toned, I am not seeing any scratches or marks that would concern me I would not rub it , leave the coin as original as possible, any handling or attempts to make it look better would devalue the coin. Should expect to get 1600 for it considering its that grade and not graded by a TPG Report this Post to the Staff

It also doesn't look MS60 to me but, it could be the way the photos were taken. But, as been noted, do not rub it or clean it in any way. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm going to put an ad on craigslist to see if someone wants to buy it. I love my coin collection but I just got hit with a bunch of bills to pay so rather than sell a bunch of cheaper coins, I figure I'll just liquidate one coin. Hopefully if someone does reply to my craigslist ad they don't turn out to be a mugger... That wouldn't be good. Report this Post to the Staff
