Very nice..!!

So which few "of the listed varieties in this new 68th Charlton Edition " would be considered the hardest to find?

Really like to know who that member was... I may have some questions for them... as I think I'm going to make my focus of my collection 50 cent pieces...

Mine is only an 18th edition! 1970.
126 pages, A5 size.
Post back, if you are after 1970 prices.

That comment should be music to pginrh...

I'll be glad,if I can, to field questions on the George VI Fifty Cent varieties. They are becoming scarcer after the last silver melt, but are still out there and I still discover new ones each year.

Congrats pginrh... I'm sure the book is great. Can't wait to see the changes from the last 50 cent variety section to this one. I would have to agree with DEVLEC that this appears to be the most complex series to work with.

Does anyone here have the first edition?
it would be interesting to see the differences in varieties and prices of certain key dates.

I have a 1961 First Edition.... For example: a 1947ML Curved 7 in XF is listed at $275.... in Trends now it now lists for $3600. The First Edition has mainly die cracks, and a minimal listing of non-progressive (Major) varieties.

Just got my copy.

Thanks to pginrh for his fine work on it, and highly intelligible explanations as to how the varieties came to be.
