I'll be glad,if I can, to field questions on the George VI Fifty Cent varieties. They are becoming scarcer after the last silver melt, but are still out there and I still discover new ones each year.

Nice to see that there are "other" nice 62 Zoell books still out there. No bids yet...?  Hope that it sells well .. Working on the 50 cent collection has got to be the hardest .....Good luck..!! |

Congrats pginrh... I'm sure the book is great. Can't wait to see the changes from the last 50 cent variety section to this one. I would have to agree with DEVLEC that this appears to be the most complex series to work with.

Does anyone here have the first edition?
it would be interesting to see the differences in varieties and prices of certain key dates.

I have a 1961 First Edition.... For example: a 1947ML Curved 7 in XF is listed at $275.... in Trends now it now lists for $3600. The First Edition has mainly die cracks, and a minimal listing of non-progressive (Major) varieties.
