Hi Compwhiz67, Welcome to the Forum.
The first coin is from Great Britian, a 1900 Three pence (pronounced thrip ence). It is made of Silver and had a mintage of 10,661,000. Hard to tell the exact condition of a coin from a photo, but I'd estimate the coin is worth about a dollar or two.
I'd agree with Bromac, that the second coin reverse has been altered quite a bit. This is where you would expect to see a date and denomination.
