Hey everyone, I just finished my second box of halves and pulled 6 more 40%ers and my first Proof coin. 2010S. On this round of $1000 halves I pulled a total of 21 40%ers and two 90%ers and I proof clad. I just started this a couple of months ago and I have pulled a total of 120 silver coins. I have searched through 10,000 coins or $5,000.00 worth of halves, that is just over 10% return, my melt value is worth approximately $500.00. I think that is a pretty good start, wish I started this sooner. How is everyone else doing out there?  I can't wait to see what I get next....   "LOVE THE HUNT!"

That isn't just a good start is a spectacular one! I've only ever found 1 50% silver quarter and 4 proof dimes.

my first prof half I found in a box along with three others. They were...
1972-S
1983-S
2001-s clad
The 2001 was really worn so I sold it to pay for some mercs. You can see my progress in my signature.

They do. I was too busy looking at the proof which is also in really nice shape from coming out of circulation.

This year I have found 3 - 40% halves out of 8 boxes...is why I don't do halves much, but your finds are great.
I have found dozens of clad proofs over the years, but impaired or not, I toss 'em back.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

I have only done 2 boxes of halves. First had a Proof, the second had a 40%.
