what do you think guys,it is small ate proof or not?

I was about to write the coin off as a large date, but now I'm not so sure.
My problem is the size and focus of the date area--it's almost not enough detail to decide.
So I have blown up your picture, comparing to a small date proof I photographed.
On the small date, the shapes of the 9,7, and 0 are all distinctive.
I could almost dismiss the 9 and 7 to focus/detail...but the 0 has that pointed inside loop indicative of the SD.
What do others think? I suspect we'll need a closer picture to be sure.

Even with the focus issue I'm pretty sure it is small date.

Small date, has the standard "weak" Liberty diagnostic among others.

I wouldn't buy a SD using the weak Liberty diagnostic. It's hardly conclusive; it depends on strike, die state, and the lighting on the coin when photographed. Here's a SD with a better-struck LIBERTY:

I hafta agree the liberty is a part of it in the end its all about the "see coops pics" thats the all and what I used to score my first one!! A 1970 mint set small date great find!! As long as your happy thats all that matters!
