I wrote a poem for this special occasion; here it is.


An Ode to Coop

Congratulations, coop, on reaching your 10,000th post!
That is a great accomplishment, so go ahead and boast.
To you I propose we all give a toast,
because you're the one we rely on the most!

In your 10,000 posts, you have made CCF members' knowledge grow.
When Machine Doubling or a possible DDO,
has someone stumped because they just don't know,
you come along
and tell them whether they are right or wrong,
in a very informative way.

Your wisdom (and images) are appreciated more than I can say;
you help us out every day.
I don't know what we would do if you ever went away,
so it looks like you will just have to stay,
among your friends at Coin Community Forum,
for many more years to come!

I feel honored to be among a fine group who have had the same goal as I did when I was new. I had the experts telling me yes or no on things but they never told me why they gave their answers. So I made it a goal to gather as much information as I could to be able to tell the why, how, and if instead of yes or no. I wanted to show with images what convinces me that an event happened to cause the coin in question. When I can present my case, I comment. Always glad to help when I can and listen closely to others comment to see if they warrant a second read/thought about my conclusion. I wish to thank all for their use of the attribution sites to identify their coins. Have you ever noticed that when you look up information for yourself, you learn something new, all the time? So thanks for the images that have corresponded with a site. Showing the markers that identify your coin from that site. I wish to thank all for their being patient with new ones. We all had to start out somewhere in our desire to learn more. Thus welcoming new ones, patiently training, assisting have made this a friendly, helpful community. So thanks all for their questions, images, concerns, thoughts, opinions and care. That is what makes a community a family. So welcome all to our; Coin Community Family.
