It sounds like a good idea, and is. Until it is up to members to post stuff in there and they don't. Unfortunately I live in one of those rotten parts of the world where I usually have to drive 2 hours to get to a major show that is not a bunch of beanie baby sellers etc.

I don't know what kind of thread per say could be used, but if there was just something like an Outlook calendar, I know I know, it's the microsoft word, then people can just add as they see fit. If no shows get loaded in there, who cares. Monitoring would be minimal I think, as it wouldn't be a discussion area, just a place to enter dates and times. Of course, I'm sure there's more to it than that from a hosting perspective, and a lot of unseen work that would need to be done, but hey, that's part of the drill of owning a site right? Doah, I think that's another one for me. Two strikes ehh?

It would be useful if people listed the shows they will be at and the times they will be there to do some vest pocket buying/selling/trading with other members. We could recognize each other by wearing some of the CCF gear. Otherwise it would be too much work to maintain if it just repeated the information already listed at coinshows.com and in Coin World.
