Cast copy, highly unlikely.Where did you ever hear of or see a cast modern copy of a common date 25¢ ? Do you have the coin in hand zxcccxz? But still trending at $500 in this condition which woukd make any seller a monstrous profit if it were a fake. I was bidding on ebay but two bidders got carried away and the price ended up at $550 which is considerably more than I was willing to pay. I have a Common Date US Draped Bust half in F that is a cast copy but made of silver, it has characteristics similar to this coin. Report this Post to the Staff
