I actually picked that one up at a local flea market for $70. Being it was an 1827/6 showing the detail it did, I couldn't pass it up!! The picture above is after I gave it an acetone bath, this is what it looked like before...... Obviously a PVC damaged coin that the previous owner tried to "thumb" the oxidized areas off. After giving it a dip I was surprised how much luster the was under all that gunk! All in all, VERY happy with this buy! PS: Nice coins guys! Report this Post to the Staff
