What is a usual and customary charge for having an investment coin examined, rated and certified? I would prefer to have coins rated in my area by certified person, but have no idea what they would charge. RWA
Do you mean TPG's like PCGS,NGC and ANACS? If so check their web sites. Most LCS will submit for you if you are not a member of PCGS or NGC,I think ANACS doesn't require membership. John1
Good question I have always wondered about that to...but if the coin is only worth say 50 bucks then is it worth while to have it graded ? yes no maybe?
Thanks to all responding. Do these companies have area or regional certified people to do the review? Some area shops claim memberships and that they grade coins. Just wondering. Have a couple that may be worth the effort and cost. Thanks.
