supgog Pillar of the Community Israel 2420 Posts	Posted 09/25/2014 11:59 am Pro- in general, UNC pre 1964 coins cost over melt. 1961 is not considered to be rarer than any other year, but still, UNC will have it's premium. 9/7.5$=20% premium, it's up to you to decide whether it worth it. I'd pay 20% over spot for any lustrous UNC Franklin, and 1951-S is considered a bit harder to get/ more expensive. Report this Post to the Staff
