It is not a coin, but a Nuremberg rechenpfennig, or jeton. This introductory page on the UK Detector Finds Database site has helpful information on these objects. Here is a site http://www.mernick.org.uk/bexley/article3.htm that puts your Jeton ( Hans Krauwinkel ) between 1562 and 1586. Finding info on your specific counter could prove futile.....
