Interesting-pics a little tough too tell but I think it must be PMD to go across the memorial like that...does it cut into the pillars?

its really hard for me to tell to be honest, it has some type of shiny coating on it, got these from a bank today and I notice that a lot of them have this shiny coat type stuff on it and the shine is throwing me off when trying to get angles. I will say it looks two layered, like on one side is flacked off or something and is rough looking the other layer looks like any other pennies layer. it is weird. why are these pennies so shiny? do they coat them or something?

Hard to tell from pics is it raised or incuse? You say it's like a layer try to get a pic of that . Or inside it. Don't be afraid to experiment with camera and loop/magnifying glass

Looks like PMD to me....looks incuse. A die crack would be raised. Could possibly be a struck through but we would need better pictures.
