Listed in Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins as a Medallic issue, #M2, 5 kronur.

Issued in 1930 to celebrate 1000th anniversary of the Althing, the Icelandic Parliament and High Court. (oldest continuous Parliament in the world).

denomination (5 kronur) on edge

obv: standing figure, date 930-1930, and motto "MEĐ LÖGUM SKAL LAND BYGGJA", roughly translated means "By law shall the land be built up".

from my 2002 Krause, the values are VF=$45.00; XF=$60.00; UNC=$100.00
