I'm guessing the one on the left has toned?
I only ask because its seems to be one solid colour.

It is toned (left) I'm wondering if it was stored differently. The environment and direct exposure to chemicals and gases in the air all play with the toning.
Any more info on the coin? Perhaps better pictures?

Yeah, it just toned. Could be just from how it was stored.

I like the toned one better.
That's the one I'd be keeping in that 2x2.
