I agree that Russian copper coins of the 18th-19th centuries are some of the largest around (still looking for the 10 kopek from the 1830s, which at 42 mm is the last gasp of the really big coinage - only a few 40+ mm types were issued anywhere in the world after that, most of them a good deal rarer). Unrelatedly (because it's not copper): wow the Gambia 8 shillings. Totally going to get one for my collection (if I can afford the price). Report this Post to the Staff
