I recently sold one a few weeks ago on ebay. 1836 and 1837 there was a change in the design on the obverse face and inscribing letters on the edges. Nothing looks fake to me. You bought a coin that was in the process of aesthetic changes. I would grade it VF30ish. Report this Post to the Staff
