Ohhh 6 pence are fractional? Man I gotta look and see what I missed then..

Uhm, I didn't say fractional? I said it was NOT a decimal based coin. For example, in 1971 the United Kingdom decimalized their currency from their old farthing/pence/shilling system to a system based on cents and fractions of 100, where 100 pence equalled a pound( as opposed to the old 240). The US has always used a decimal system.
