I'm looking to buy a significant amount of gold but I'm hesitant because I'm not sure what to expect going forward...

Should I wait? If so, how low will it go?

The LAST people you need to be talking to about making a significant investment in gold with are those that post on Internet forums!

Do your homework, read all you can and weigh all sides of the arguments that bounce around in your head. Make informed decisions; do not make make decisions based on emotions.

If you are successful, you can then tout your investment ability and toot your horn. If you fail, then you have no one to blame but yourself.

That's kinda the way it should be.

I have no crystal ball but I can tell you the probabilities for much lower prices are very high and buying gold right here, right now, is a big waste of your precious cash.

Every single person that has attempted to buy gold or silver, whether one coin at a time or multiple coins at a time is underwater right now, so ask yourself if you wish to join the underwater club or patiently wait for things to sort themselves out.

Now I know the die hards here will say and spout the same things to you-

1- buy because you are going to be a "long term" holder (whatever that means lol)

2- the old "eventually it will go up so buy now".

3- the old "it CANT go lower" line

So to keep it simple ask yourself- can I accept seeing this significant purchase of gold fall in value after I buy it? Can I stomach seeing it drop 10-30% or even more? In other words, can you deal with buyers remorse?

Read into silver gold ratio too, before deciding on gold or silver.

Sorry but I sent my crystal ball to yup for repairs. I'm now down to my magic and it says to ask again later
