I'm gambling on ebay, There are several of these up on the Bay right now. I took a chance and got one for $26.29 USD with free shipping. Can't find any of the usual sketchy semi hidden words like clad or plated. The ad clearly state: "1991 China 5 Oz Silver Chinese Panda Coin" Too good to be true? It will take some time to arrive but I will let you know what I learn once it is tested. Buyer beware but some times I need to gamble a little. THis would be a good poll: Who thinks Liverpool got burned, and who thinks Liverpool got a good deal. Right now the vote is 1 for Liverpool got burned (my vote) I'll keep you posted.

On ebay the odds are in favor of getting burned. Posting a link would help making a better guess though.

There is a lot of them going right now. It's got to be too good to be true.

I think you got burned, no way your getting a "real" 5oz panda for $26 us, just not going to happen. A good paper weight though, maybe.

Its from China. It does not have 50 yuan marked on it. The picture is on an angle so you can't read the upper markings. The pool in front of the pandas has no waves lines stamped in. The building on back is all wrong. You definitely don't have a real 1991 5 oz. Panda.

Ya, I think you got burned. The description says ask any questions so ask them! They seem to speak good English lol ... these would make great shiny skeet/trap targets for my 10g... They're expensive for that but heck so are 10g shells so why not

The silver plated copper pandas are identical to the one you buying, so give it a little scratch test on the edge when it comes.

No question, you got burned, but in my opinion, you will get what you paid for, you should have asked the question before you bought it.

Reminds me of when I bought some gold bars for the 1st time. My first day of stacking was my worst one. I bid a lot on those gold clad gram bars thinking they were real. I thought I was making bank until I did more research.
