I don't see any listings of a VDB doubled die obverse and a doubled die reverse on the same coin.

Obverse: Doubling in LIBERTY, none in 1909

Reverse: Doubling in ONE CENT and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Seems like something like this this would have been discovered by now.

A very nice coin!

But I'm thinking this is very, very minor Machine Doubling. Note on the area on the "0" is reduced from the bottom left side of this digit? Machine damage can affect just one device/devices on one or both sides of a coin. But it is so minor that it would not affect the coins value.

I like the colors.

I know there is MD on the date. I showed a pic of the date to show there is no doubling like 001 and 002. It is a doubled die though. The best proof of it is the top left serif of E in LIBERTY.

There are no serifs in LIBERTY, it's a sans serif font.

But there is splitting.

I think he meant notching. But with just one device affect if could have been a contact mark. But you have a great coin worth keeping it keeping safe.
