EF - AU?
Possible Value?
And does it appear to have any doubling?

Tough coin to grade. Upper end of VF to lower part of XF as the left side of the star and the lettering shows a fair amount of wear and weakness of strike. If the lettering weren't so flat, and the lower left part of the star wasn't so weak it would be XF-40. As it is it might net grade the XF but it will likely be a VF-35.

It doesn't touch AU.

Value? Coin Values magazine January issue lists VF-20 at $70 & XF-40 at $125. If it's a VF-35, based on the straight math parameters, it would list for about $110. Keep in mind, these amounts seem high to me, by about $10-15.

Also, after enlarging the picture, there is some definite doubling, most visible on the "E" of STATES. Also the "T" of UNITED & STATES, the "F" of OF & the "M" of AMERICA. Probably Machine Doubling, but still neat!
