My first thought was: Wow that coin is 1,822 years old.
My second thought was: Clogged die or Strike through grease+circulation.

I have a few that were grease filled as well, but I could still see a light hint of what was missing, yours is completely gone. I like it!!

I might be new at this but my first thought was the 1922 no D that they pay a gazillion dollars to own. Why would this be any different?

It might be worth a few cents or a few dollars. People collect these but it depends upon condition/grade. Since I can only see part of your coin and it appears damaged from circulation, I would guess that this coin isn't worth a lot -- but it's still a keeper.
The value of error coins and oddities seems to be all over the place sometimes, so there is no way to fix an exact value on a coin like this.

Yes, there is damage. The condition isn't great, but it isn't horrible either. The coloring is much better than it appears in these photos...it's BR, but I just got the microscope today and I haven't figured out the lighting yet.   |

I like this one a lot, very unique. Nothing else affected by grease, and a nice clean disappearance of the whole digit.

I don't see where the final digit was struck at all.

I think this is an optical illusion, but there looks like a very faint 2. It looks like a dropped letter type thing. The top curl of the 2 starts to the right of the horizontal bar of the 4. It is below the rest of the date. I only see it in the first picture.

Struck through error (grease). The last digit was fully filled, thus you see no hint of that device. Not a dropped letter. With enough debris into the digits grease, then it might become later a dropped digit. But when your coin was struck, this event hadn't happened yet.

Well you know mahgobbi value is just as subjective as grading. The only way to know is put it on the market. Nobody on a message board can really speak for the market as subjective as it is.

Despite the grade, I think it's uniqueness gives the coin enough desirability to forgive some quality
