Nice pick up for .50 cents.

FWIW, I purchased, this, the 1854 half penny token, and the 1896 5 cent piece for a total of $.50 US.

Truth be told, there is no market (outside ebay) for any 19th or 20th century Canadian coinage (except as melt for silver). I tried selling some 19th century Canadian to my world coin buyer at a coin show in January, and he said he had bought a tackle box full of large cents and sterling for face value a few months prior, in hopes of selling it at a coin show nearer the Canadian border. He insisted the tackle box be thrown in.

I would gladly mail some VG/F or better large cents, sterling, and a roll of 1942-44 cents I purchased for face, in return for maples or pre-67 bullion-priced Canadian silver.
