1994 Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Extra Column ?

tapapple65 Pillar of the Community United States 538 Posts	Posted 03/09/2016 10:55 pm Sorry about the limited pic but still working out of town. As you can see in the pic there appears to be an extra column in the bay beside Lincoln. Plus there is some kind of anomaly in the bay left of Lincoln near the floor. I hav'nt found a match yet. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/10/2016 10:32 am Keep in mind that the bays are level with the fields of the die. (the outside part) so any damage in that area will create what you are see on this coin. A raised area on the bay. Die scratches will also create lines that looks like extra columns. But the real clue to ID these is to look for the die scratches above or below the building. Also die scratches may not be straight. An extra column should be straight and evenly located on the bay in order for this to be a true extra column. Report this Post to the Staff
