Afraid not...

The Ripple does not take the same course as the Wave in the Stroke of the 2. Me thinks the hint of a wave you can see is just damage. Unless of course there is a second Wavy '66 Variety!

Could be an attempt to 'manufacture' one. Fakes do exist. Definitely not a genuine wavy.

Thx y'll for the input... When I found this one, I was really happy, but I remembered clearly that wavy's were much more radical than this.. So for a few hours during work, my mind was torn between it.. But deep down, I knew this wasn't a wavy... Still, its a good experience cause now I know what wavy's actually are supposed to look like..

KurtS, This site should help you to identify a 'Wavy'.

http://www.triton.vg/20-66.html

Scroll down to the bottom, last image is the wavy.

The reason justabeginner's picture at the top of this thread is NOT a wavy is that it's missing the mirrored curvature of the aquatic swirl immediately above the wave on the base of the 2.

Wow...another cool variety to be aware of! Thanks Nancy...I have visited that site's pre-decimal pages.

Wavy's are definitely worth looking for. Sell prices start at $200 for the lowest condition.
