Come on...don't be a chicken!

I'll get it started. The dealer I bought this from had the 2x2 marked "MS67".

Wow, everyone seems afraid to grade. I'll try, looks like a couple small hits in the obverse field, couple scratches and a small hit on reverse. I'd still say MS-65RD. Is something going on at the top right of the left wheatstalk? Nice coin!

Thanks mr merc! Yea, nobody is even trying to grade my recent round of Lincolns....not sure why. I know they are extremely high grade, which are tougher to grade, but this is a PRACTICE forum. It costs nothing to post an opinion and that's all I ask for. Oh well, I just hope everyone is enjoying the pics at least.

I'm by no means an expert on grading MS Lincolns. I'm just trying to sharpen my skills on this forum. I would say I grade on the conservative side on all coins. After all like you said it is a practice forum. Thanks for the opportunity!

Lincolns scare me !

Seriously Thad ,, sometimes and its not often ,,but sometimes I give the coins a day or two before I post an opinion .

and then sometimes I'm just not in the mood to grade ,,Im even like that with my own coins .

this coin in todays standards MS-66 Red ,,the seller was a little proud of his coin ,,nothing unusual about that .

Why do they scare you?

This one is a beauty, it would easily hit MS66 PCGS IMHO, I believe it would most likely go even higher based on the ones I've compared it to on Heritage.

Now, don't be scared and grade away! LOL

Thad ,,I would agree with you if the hits on the Reverse were anywhere besides on the lettering .

Definitely a focal area .
