2007 1 Cent Weak Strike! - Coin Community Forum

robmck1967 Pillar of the Community Canada 870 Posts	Posted 07/16/2016 10:38 am Looking for some opinions on this coin please! Looks like a weak strike or Struck Through Grease on obverse and reverse. It is thinner than a normal cent and the rim rounded, not flat. This pic shows how much thinner the rim is. The weight is within tolerances. Copper plated steel lists as 2.35 grams. So I think it must have been struck out of collar judging by the poorly formed rim and weak strike but maybe someone has a different opinion or can confirm mine. Thanks!
