Old British Coin With Cross Design - Silver Or Reproduction? ID Needed

Hello, I am new to the forum. This is my first post.

I stopped by the Salvation Army and purchased a bag of foreign currency for $5.50 USD because it contained 9 Pounds, 5 Canadian Dollars, and 2 Euros, so I can exchange the coins for more than I purchased. Not a very big score. The last time I did this at a different Salvation Army, I got $70 USD in exchange money for $18 purchase. Also included was a 1799 Farthing in bad shape, but still identifiable and worth $40.

This time I was going to pass until there was something else in the bag that caught my eye. I'm a beginner at finding coins, so not sure if this is a reproduction or what denomination or year it is from? Bummer is that someone drilled two small holes in it, probably to wear around their neck on a necklace.

Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for reading.
