Thanks John77 and Buddy. I only bought $5 of penny rolls and found 1929 S, 1942 D, 1944 S, 1950 S, 1955, 1956 D, 1969 D and a nice 1982 small date. I think I will head back to that bank and see if they have more rolls I can buy.

< RENEE > , I would get a copy of Coins Magazine. they have a section on coin finds every month . people submit interesting coins they have found. I don't think many will beat yours .

That's a fantastic find, and not to take anything away from it, but it's almost impossible for that to still be in circulation after 100 plus years. I'm betting grandpa died and someone who didn't know what was there rolled his collection and took it to the bank. You should go back and get every roll that particular cashier has.
