2012 Acadia Maine Quarter, Something I've Never Seen..

MillennialCoins New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 08/15/2016 2:25 pm I have spent a little time and simply out of confusion I am just going to ask anyone else if they have seen this.. This is a 2012 Acadia Maine Quarter that I found while coin roll hunting. As far as I can tell, it is completely uncirculated (not even a fingerprint.) The texture itself is almost like a matte finish. Can anyone identify this variety (if any) or what may have happened? There are some colorized coins like this, but they are actually colored, where this just has gold coloring/finish.
