This is a LMC that I found in a bag of cents that had been untouched for at least 15 years. I noticed the toning on it immediatly, and wondered if it was natural or not. grade?

I dont know what you mean by "natural." The overall reverse looks like different toning (and corrosion/deterioration?) reaction from metallurgic and handling impurities. My guess: Grade is MS something with overall grade of AU++. Then again, the shine on the obverse may be hiding unseen wear.

Well, as I understand some 'rainbow' toning can be artifically created with the application of chemicals and heat. I have never seen either 'in hand', only pictures really, and I don't really know what the differance is.

It's all natural, about AU to low MS without better pics.

The toning looks fine to me.
I'm having a hard time grading it from the pics, and would agree with BadThad on the au to low ms.
